Meet Diane Stricker

My husband, Mike, and I met in high school and have been growing together ever since — a testament to God’s grace and the beauty of building a life together. Our marriage is grounded in faith, love, honesty, and mutual respect… along with the occasional debate over housework and the correct direction of the toilet paper roll.

I’m drawn to life’s big questions, everything from “What is my purpose?” to “How do socks disappear in the dryer without a trace?” My daily reflections and Scripture study keep me rooted in compassion, integrity, and hope—even on days running on more grace than caffeine.

For several years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through addictions, and walking alongside them as they navigate personal and emotional breakthroughs. One of my greatest joys is helping others find clarity, freedom, and purpose—often discovering that we learn just as much from others as they do from us.

I also value serving in prison ministry, mentoring new learners and offering guidance rooted in hope and transformation. It’s deeply rewarding and humbling to be a small part of their journey.

These experiences shaped my calling of officiating weddings and funerals. Standing with families during life’s most sacred milestones—moments of love & passion, grief & compassion, hope, and promise—is an honour that I hold deeply and approach with humility.

Outside of work, I love traveling with my husband and family to Florida, where the sunshine feels brighter, the beaches are better, and the ice cream melts twice as fast.
